PALS English is a comprehensive Common Core aligned curriculum that offers challenging reading texts and comprehension. The genres of reading texts include fiction, nonfiction, poetry, drama, speech, and others. In addition to reading, PALS English also features structured lessons in language and reading strategies. In early grades, PALS English helps students learn to read and write words and simple sentences. From grade 2, PALS English provides two 2-3 pages challenging reading texts along with two 2-pages of comprehension questions composed of multiple choice and thought-provoking, open-ended questions.
