One-on-one AP tutoring

Not every student fits a batch. For AP Statistics, AP Physics C, Honors Physics, or any AP subject not listed above, we schedule dedicated one-on-one sessions with a subject specialist. These start with a short conversation about the student’s course, teacher, and target score — not a shopping cart.

What to expect from these classes

  • Exam-prep focus. Our AP courses are built end-to-end around the College Board framework and the May exam — not around one specific school’s syllabus.
  • No school-assignment help in these classes. For homework, project, or teacher-specific support, we recommend one-on-one tutoring instead — reach out and we’ll set it up.
  • No makeup classes. Every session runs on schedule for the whole cohort.
  • Recordings on request. If a student can’t attend live, they can ask us to share the recording of that session.
  • Seats are first-come, first-served. When a batch fills, we open a waitlist. Waitlist demand is how we decide whether to add another time slot.

Frequently asked questions

Should my child take the AP course or the Honors course?

The Honors track (Biology Honors, Chemistry Honors, Physics Honors) is built for 9th–10th graders who want an accelerated foundation before AP. The AP track assumes prior exposure and is scoped to the May College Board exam. If you’re not sure, an assessment call gets you an honest answer in 15 minutes.

Small group or one-on-one — which is better?

Small-group works well when the student learns from hearing other students ask questions, and when the schedule matches. One-on-one is the right call when the student needs a very specific pace, when a batch time doesn’t fit, or when the subject isn’t offered in a group cohort (AP Statistics, AP Physics C).

What happens if a batch fills before I register?

Join the waitlist. That’s not a formality — when waitlist demand builds, we open a new time slot rather than turn students away. You’ll get first pick on the new schedule.

What is your refund and withdrawal policy?

Policy language pending from PALS — see runbook Section 7.

What do I need to attend the live online classes?

A laptop or desktop with a camera and microphone, a stable internet connection, a notebook, and a quiet space. We use Zoom; the link is sent to the student email after registration.
